This should show the advantages of lowMoveup.

In this demo I do two runs on ST1: one without lowMoveup and one with the cheat active.
Both runs have identical movement, because they are replayed.

Nice nice, but what about a legit non-scripted/non-yawed straight cj world record? New thread or could it be posted here? I've got 557.

did some unramped 560 cjs on fc, usually i get 52x in vq3
cj recs are just about velocity snapping and have barely anything to do with skill

@ nebula Yeah I think a CJ speed ranking would motivate to people to present their records and moving into a top

I think they will just script them. It's hard to record demos of single run elements. I don't want to watch a whole demo.

There are so many things to test for, too. Things like:
Is the ground slicky?
Is the player using any weapons?
Did the player have any velocity before attempting a cj?
Those are just the things that come to mind right now. There is probably a lot more.

Also the term "circle jump" has to be defined. Setup's botted circle jump ditched the "circle"-part almost completely. One might argue about that being an actual circle jump.

To me a circle jump is just a single jump with 0ups start speed with the landing spot at the same level as the take off spot.

Making a CJ ranking is not a good idea.

Nice. I've gotten 554 on demo but it's in a strafe lane so it's ramped, dunno if that counts

I have a question about upmove though, if you set it to 10 won't your jump be really short / low? Or is it unrelated to the actual jump height?

upmove is unrelated to jump height, but instead with your acceleration while +moveup is held down. lowering it would mean that you don't lose acceleration while holding +moveup. VERY obvious with hk's demos.
wtf i have a signature?
