How about some Fastcaps scripted demos ? There are so many CTF maps that are full of possibilities :!:

Coldrun - one of most amazing Defrag map ever. Great demo :!:

Thanks for mentioning me in comments.
Thanks for such a great realization of the idea! Man, this demo totally pwnz!
I mean the coldrun of course, but the others are nice too.
kpsrocketrun script looks to be the limit for this map.
dmp01_o3j - you still can improve some things, but it is still hardcore now.
dfcomp001 - I believe its not the limit for this map, although this demo is really a tough one. We'll see if I can improve the time on this map.

Thank you for your feedbacks. I`m glad, you liked the work :)

to dqopb:
Yea, dmp01_o3j has sufficient time, about 0.2 seconds
But dfcomp001.. hmm.. improve the time it will be difficult.

Sorry, but...
CTF is the perfect place for a bot. Q3 console commands (scripting) are more suitable for maps with weapons, where you don't need to think about optimal acceleration zones in every frame. I don't have a defrag bot, so I'm unlikely to do CTF scripts soon. Even if I script a CTF run with weapons, there are still many places for strafe jumps almost in any CTF map.

Seeing this, I proceeded on my scripted plasma demo.
Well, scripting plasma really sucks when the ceiling is low and you have to redo the whole trick just because you are a few units short at the end.

I also condemn how quake3 script is implemented. Especially the "wait" command. It just doesn't wait the requested amount of time but instead snaps to some kind of grid. That would be good on it self. But the grid seems to be unevenly spaced. So you have to insert lots of odd numbers instead of even every now and then. Copy-Pasta-ing a section from another script totally doesn't do the same movement.

There is a bright side to this, though.
I used to have problems with this trick freehand. Now that I scripted it, I know what is important in this trick and what isn't. Now I can do this trick in 1 out of 5 tries.
Scripting plasma helps understanding the tricks in question.
