Hey, how'd you make a skybox, any good tutorials? Do you need to put the skybox img in /env folder beforehand, will other skyboxes appear in the texture viewer, or does it just take from /texture folders?
the tutorials I find are just about making the images, not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong tbh, I made a room and applied the same skys to all sides, yet in game the bottom shows a hom effect.
skybox isn't only pictures, it's ones + shader textures/skies/nightsky_xian_dm1 is random example hom might be result of various issues, like two matching brushes or visibility issue
If you get a HoM effect the sky you are using was mainly created for skies behind windows or ceilings. If I am not wrong, wasnt there a folder inside the textures called skyboxes? Or was it just the skies folder? If I am not wrong every sky, except the blacksky for the space maps from the original Q3 were only intended for ceilings.
