The trigger simply adds xxx units to players speed - x y z direction. Unlike jumppads, the speed will be added.

So the first trigger save tour speed and the second restore it vertically ? Could be really fun !

Yes right. The first gate save the speed and the second restore it.
Therefore I fly really high the first time because I passed the "save-gate" with high speed.
Then I walk slowly through the gate: the low speed is now saved and I didn't fly very high.
Last I use the RL to fly through the "save-gate" with average speed and the "restore-gate" pushes me a bit higher.

Additionally at the beginning of the video you can see another yellow gate. This is a speed-set-entity which sets your speed to exactly 1400u.

Btw.: Can you somehow change the behaviour of func_pendulum? It kills everythink that's in its way.

Edit:

New ideas:

- Being able to use path_corner's for func_plats or doors. That way we could build an elevator.
- Would be nice if func_trains would emit sounds from their current position - not only from initial origin.
- A possibility to stop func_trains. Now they just kill the player if he is between.
- Defrag support for target_location information. I already requested that before at cggdev. AMT-Freestyle4 already has this feature - it only needs to be activated for defrag.

Is it possible for you to add new surfaceparms?

I have the following in mind:

Ladder (real ladder not very small close stairs that you go up ridiculously fast)
Sticky (for surfaces like spider webs or pools of goo that slow the player)

btw nice work on the saveSpeed and loadSpeed triggers :)

Phoenix, you could try to do a workaround with the exising trigg_push_velocity. Apply a negative speed for the desired directions.

I don't know how to handle surfaceparms exactly but I'll have a look at.
But for the moment I'll finish the clientside entity code and process my priority list.
