May could be cool if there is enough map by this time.
June/July/August : no way, a lot of poeple are away from the computer during summer.
December is out to, people often move a lot before chrismas and everything, plus this would end in january.
I voted september, because it would be a cool event for the new season/school year, but october/november could fit as well.

well i dont really care when, since i dont go to school or work. early in the summer break seems like a kinda good time, but thats just me.

I don't really care since I don't participate but it's easy to say any time is a bad time.

May = GL having quality maps by then. Sure it's possible but more time is always better. I'd personally like to see some interesting maps for dfwc.
June/July/Aug = Summer / People not wanting to sit at their computers
Sept/Oct/Nov = School
Dec = Holidays/Traveling

There you have it. Looks like we can't have DFWC at all!

July and August are always busy months for everyone, too much chance of people going on vacation and missing a week or 2.
I think the best bet would actually be May/June -however it's the start of vacation- or September/October/November 'cause everyone has got work and is home in the evening.

A round lasts 1 week. Everyone who is at home will find time to play at least on the weekends.
I think we just have to make sure the majority is not on vacation in other countries.

Totally september/october/november.

- Enough time to create super-awesome maps (and to set up the demo-archive )
- Some roasted braincells may have recovered then after the heat period (and want to relax after whatever they did in summer)
- Increases the thrill, if you have to wait a bit longer for it to start
