I'm thinking of making some tutorials on more in-depth stuff for GtkRadiant 1.4.0. (using video with voice)

ie: how to make doors.. doors that are triggered.. maps that require frags to finish (o3j-fusion).. func_bobbing/roating (how to set it up)... making mirrors etc..

If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

I have one! How to make a curved cap like in the picture I attached? I often come to a point when knowing how to do this would be insanely helpful, yet I always have to content myself with workarounds. I guess the only way doing it is by using a simple patch mesh, but often you can't align the vertex points exactly to where the curved walls' kinks are. :/

Oh, it seems as if 1.5 doesn't have this option D: Or at least it's well hidden :/ But thanks for the video (and the upcoming ones), I guess it's of great use not only for users of this board :)

yeah its in there somewhere im sure u can find it in the manual. thats why i never liked 1.5.. i quickly learned 1.4 it was hard to switch to 1.5 to learn the new hotkeys.. yeah it has its pros and cons compared to 1.4, but ill always stick with this version until they finish 1.6 (zeroradiant)

Please mention what detail brushes are for. I guess many people don't know and see no reason to detail brushes at all. Oh well, that would probably fit best into an r_speeds tutorial that deals with performance issues only not in this movie.
