I started to working on a freestyle map, which will contain a run and fastcap function too. 8-)
Beta 1 will be released in the beginning of February, meantime you can give tips, hints about ( and for ) the map.
Testers are welcome!

Are you using CSG subtract? It may be quick but it's bad :P Can be used sometimes but you need to clean the brushes up it creates after. Doubt it will affect anything in the end here it's just good habit, particularly for more complex projects.

As for the map ... hard to say from just the one screenshot. I can beta test for you if you'd like for better feedback but from what I can see it seems kind of plain (layout-wise). Having a hard time trying to find the words to explain why ... just how it seems to me (based on what I can see so far).

The orange and black fits the bee theme obviously. I'm wondering if a slightly darker orange would look better. Not sure maybe make a few darker shades of your orange texture, copy your map and use the find/replace textures to swap the darker ones on the copy and get some screenshots of all for comparison.

Maybe you could try out some sort of cool way to incorporate the bee theme into the layout as well?

Some examples of what I mean can be seen here:

lsdm17 - "Octopus Revenge" - http://lvlworld.com/review.php?id=1592
scorpion - "Scorpion" - http://q3a.ath.cx/?mapdetails=scorpion

Not sure what you could come up with for a bee but notice how the scorpion layout slightly resembles a scorpion and check out the tail. Octopus Revenge is a curve remake of dm17 with an octopus theme which is fitting as the curves look like the tentacles of the octopus.
