nice one Rust7 but where is the portal gun guys !? maybe anyone can code this... ;) (i think pressing a key it create a portal and another key and it create the second portal, or the same key it create the first and the second portal and if i press for the third time the first portal is replaced)

@Phoenix: i have portal so i can export the texture but as says it <hk>... i wait and see the answer

I didnt read the license from portal but I am 99.2% sure that you are NOT allowed to use original portal textures in other games than in portal...

...but aren't those textures quite simple. Maybe create your own textures.

Well as an example. To use a copyrighted artists song in a movie you need to pay for the rights to use it. You can get away with it if your movie is not for profit though because it falls under fair use. I think the same would apply in the case of the textures. In my case I would be using them not for profit and would be promoting portal in the process.

I'm not sure it works this way, else we would be able to distribute pak0 for a defrag standalone as long as it is non profit.

The contest is changed a bit. This map will only contain strafe, ob and vob, and any other special jumping techinques, no logics things, maybe only route finding. Textures and "portal stuffs" will not change.

looks good the only thing that i noticed is on the last pic 3-4 the texture alignment is a bit off on the small pillars

The map is for VQ3. But ofc, it will support CPM records too.
There will be +5 extra maps included in the .pk3
First of all, qportal.bsp which is the whole map, and then qportal-blue, green, red, orange, black, as separated short maps.

Hope you will enjoy it!
Oh and btw, i'am looking for VQ3 testers! You can PM me!
