Hello!

I've got a random idea to make a map for this old mod, so here it is! I am also including the .map file to provide people with a semi-clean template to make maps from. The mod itself has .map files of all the maps and a txt explaining the entities so it should be pretty simple.


Kairos also made a quick map. He insisted I stress the fact that this map is unfinished and is a work in progress.


I made a quick vid of me running through my map, for anyone too lazy to download to see what this is all about



Mod


Quick Tutorial

    Move with +moveleft and +moveright keys
    Aim up/down with +forward/+back keys

Suggested Cvars

    cg_statuslocation 1
    cg_zoomfov (fov is locked at 90 and cheat protected, so if you would like to change how much you can see, use this)


PS: I can run a server with this mod, but I do not always keep it on. Msg me on irc and I can put it up.

Well, I've tried it with quake3droid and everything is working fine. Finally got a mod which is truly playable on mobile OS, so thank you for sharing! :clap:
Trickjumping maps is great idea, keep developing it.

Very enjoyable!

But guys, did you never hear about Need For Kill? It is also a 2D platformer based on q3. But in another way.
You can play it online over the internet, LAN, or even versus an opponent on the same keyboard (the one who has the mouse has advantage though, his opponent aims by keyboard).
It has:
duel ->
CTF ->
tricks ->
and kind of defrag ->

It has many popular q3 maps re-drawn in 2D, but new maps are also fun to play.
No mobile platform support though. It was written in Delphi and only supports Windows.

P.S. I hope I'm not Captain Obviousness re-discovering America in this post.
